  • Spaghetti Pasta

    1 lb
  • Yellowfin Tuna in Olive Oil

    1 can
  • Mushrooms (fresh, sliced)

    1 lb
  • Tomato Sauce

    1 12 oz can
  • Garlic

    2 cloves
  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil

    2 tbsps
  • Italian Parsley

    to taste
  • Salt

    to taste
  • Black Pepper

    to taste

Cooking Directions:

Before starting, cut the mushrooms in slices and drain the tuna.

Finely cut the garlic and sautee in a large pan with olive oil.

Add the drained tuna and the sliced mushrooms and cook on medium heat for 1-2 minutes

Add the tomato sauce, adjust with salt and pepper, and let simmer, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is ready (al dente)

Just before serving, add the minced italian parsley. Garnish with a whole parsley for a better result.

If you can find fresh Porcini mushrooms, that should be your choice for best results. However, fresh wild mushrooms or oyster mushrooms can work pretty well. If you are short on fresh products, store available sliced mushrooms can be used
