Chocolate and Coconut Cake is a delicious eggless vegan cake. Easy to prepare, this coconut flavored chocolate dough can also be used as a base for the creation of many different desserts!

Ingredients:

  • Bread Flour

    1 and 1/2 cup
  • Sugar

    1 cup
  • Unsweetened Cocoa Powder

    1 cup
  • Sunflower Oil

    3 tbsps
  • Coconut milk

    14 oz

Cooking Directions:

In a large bowl, mix the sifted flour, the sugar and the cocoa powder.

Slowly add the oil and the coconut milk. Stir well to obtain a creamy and homogeneous dough.

Transfer the chocolate and coconut dough in a 9 inches baking pan and bake at 320F for about 40 minutes. To check the readiness of the cake insert a toothpick in the center of the cake. If it comes out dry, the cake is ready.


Tips:

You can top the cake with your favorite glaze or with dried coconut.

If you like a more traditional chocolate flavor you can use whole milk instead of coconut milk.
