Cooking Directions:

In a small bowl, moist the raisins with some warm water. Let stand for about 10 minutes until the dried raisins retrieve their softness. Drain, dry gently with a kitchen cloth and set apart.

Dissolve the yeast in the warm milk, add the melted butter. Adjust of salt and slowly add the sifted flour and the raisins, kneading until obtaining a soft dough.

Shape the dough into a ball. Place it in a warm place covered with a wet kitchen cloth. Let rest for about 1 hour. The dough should rise to double his original size.

Tips:

Divide the bread dough into small breads of the desired shape. Lay the breads on a greased baking sheet leaving enough room for them to rise without touching.

Bake in the preheated oven at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes.

When ready remove form the oven and quickly top with sugar the homemade raisin breads. The sugar will melt and solidify while the bread is cooling down.
