Vegan Carob Brownies - Recipe

  • Dairy-free Butter (Dairy Free Spread)

    1 1/2 tbsps
  • Carob (powder, chips or bars)

    9 oz
  • All Purpose Flour

    1 1/2 cups
  • Sugar (vegan)

    1 tbsp
  • Raisins

    2 tbsps
  • Nuts

    2 tbsps
  • Soy Milk

    2/3 cup

Cooking Directions:

In a large microwave-safe bowl add the dairy free spread with the carob (bars, chips or powder).

Microwave for up to 90 seconds or until melted. Stir every 10-15 seconds to avoid burning.

Add the sifted flour and the vegan brown sugar. Mix well to obtain an homogeneous, lump free, mixture.

Add the raisins, the nuts and the soy milk. Stir well until all the ingredients are well mixed.

Pour the brownies batter in a baking pan.

Cook at 350F for about 30 minutes or until the brownie turn lightly golden. Let cool and cut into squares before serving.
